I have studied and practiced reflexology and cranio-sacral reflexology since 2006. I have been trained and certified with the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) and in Reflex Therapy Total Reflexology Cranio-Sacral by Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson of London, England. I have learned over the years that a core value of mine, is education. I have continued over the years since first certifying in reflexology, to take many courses in different healing modalities and plan to continue to do so. I started Heeling Sole Reflexology in 2008 from home and opened my first commercial space on Martin Street in Penticton, BC, in April of 2009. I am happy and filled with gratitude to be a part of Penticton's community of health and wellness practitioners. About Dr. Martine Faure-Alderson (my late mentor): Dr. Faure-Alderson is a fully qualified Osteopath with 40 years experience in private practice. In addition, in 1970, Dr. Faure-Alderson was awarded a Doctorate in Homeopathy and General Medicine. She is also qualified in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine and Reflexology. She has a school in Paris and has taught Postgraduate students of reflexology since 1968. She holds her CSR seminars throughout Europe and teaches in America, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. "I am pleased to offer a unique clinical reflexology course on the cranial-sacral system. This course enables the reflexologist to enhance the circulation in the head and the cranial organs through treatment of the feet. The cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF) is treated, stimulated and transported to all parts of the body and the 12 cranial nerves are treated individually, following a special technique via the autonomic nervous system.
